Surface Unsigned - the UK's biggest competition for unsigned bands is underway again this year.

Leicester bands are heading towards Birmingham again to take part in the Midlands Region of Surface Unsigned, the country's biggest competition for Unsigned Bands.

Bands taking part in the heats and the results of each night are shown on the SU Midlands Region minisite.

Leicester bands that have already gone through the initial heats in Brimingham to win a place in the next round include Free Control, Silent Resistence, and Formal Warning.

Some of the bands have organised coaches and minibuses to take their fans over to The Flapper, a nice venue on the bands of the canal, not far from the National Indoor Arena.
