What's coming up in 2009 for Arts in Leicester/shire

The Leicester Comedy Festival tookm place (6th to 15th February 2009

April to June - The Original Bands Showcase competition at the Shed and the Musician venues.

May - The Glastonbudget Festival 2009 - was a great success - due largely to the fine weather and a good line up of bands,

June - The Download Festival takes place just outside the borders of Leicestershire in neighboring Derbyshire.

August - looking forward to next year's Summer Sundae Festival in the grounds of the De Montfort Hall

and metal fans will be heading to Derby for the Bloodstock Festival
