Do you want to be a rock star?

A competition run at the Shed by Music First Promotions. The first heat took place on Saturday 28th January 2012.

obsUnplugged

We covered most of the shows and the finale of this programme for singers and acoustic artists. Whilst it was not strictly a competition as such, it did provide a channel through which acts could gain a place on the prestigious Summer Sundae festival.

OBS (Original Bands Showcase)

The OBS for bands has been running for several years. The organisers point out that they do not see it as being a Battle of the Bands type competition, but rather a show-case for the musical talent of our local area.
