Songs include everything: Wonderwall, Dont look back in anger, Lyla, Shock of the lightning, Liveforever, Supersonic, Columbia. Can can find out more and contact them via their Myspace page The UpbeatlesFormed originally as the "BBC Radio Leicester All Stars" to raise funds for the Rainbows children's hospice in Leicestershire, the band was part of BBC Radio Leicester's 40th birthday 'Ruby Rainbow Appeal'. Highlights include a sell-out BBC birthday gala concert at Leicester's De Montfort Hall with Showaddywaddy, the Glastonbudget tribute band festival, BBC TV's Children in Need, Leicester's Curve theatre and the Frontier club at Batley. launched as 'The upBeatles', the almost legendary 'Fib Four' are a caricature of the original Fab Four as they continue on a "Magical Mystery Tour" down "Penny Lane" in celebration of those sounds from the swinging sixties. While we're always happy to consider private engagements, we remain principally a charity band and play our music for good causes and fun! The band has helped raise upwards of £50,000 through gigs, and charities which have benefitted include: Rainbows, Wish Upon a Star, LOROS, Take Care Nursery, the county Air Ambulance, the Laura Centre, Leicester Children's Holiday Centre, Coping With Cancer, Special Olympics, Children in Need, Help For Heroes, ProstAid, Steps (conductive education), the Matt Hampson Trust, Bowel Cancer UK, Huncote Pet Rescue Centre, Gorse Hill City Farm and the U Foundation Zambia.
