Every now and then an opportunity come along that allows
us to make a direct difference to the lives of those less fortunate than
ourselves. This is one of those occassions:
In a nutshell The Urban Zone is a three-day training residential experience,
which the TUC, Jean-Alain Rousseau and Peter Todd are supporting.
Co mpetitively priced we are offering 100 organisation / professionals workshops
and 50 young people workshops.
So give us a shout if you would like any further information.
Rapper Ricky C has got some shows coming up. He told
us "I have the tickets so if you could make it that would be mint." At
the Maze in Nottingham, 16th May, for a metal/rap night. Then
20th May at the Shed with a full urban, hip-hop line up. At
Lock42 on 21st
May we have reloaded with rap, indie, metal and folk. If you can come,
tickets are £5.
See our main gigs list for more details or
see Ricky C's page
on Facebook.
Thursday 3rd March has been set as the date for the first
I Love Dubstep night. Starting at 10 p.m. the music policy includes Dubstep,
dance, floor fillers, chart, electro, hip hop and more. It will be a blackout
party - no lights - everyone gets a torch on entry. 18+ and £3 on the
door. If you can find it - the venue has not been announced yet. Sounds like
a secret rave. More
