The vacancies offered below are opportunities for people who have some spare time who want to get involved in either running this web site on a voluntary basis.

Gig Promoter required

A person is required to promote weekly live music shows at a City Centre bar. Previous experience of producing live music is required and there is potential to make some income for the right candidate.

Web site content editor

As our web site grows it takes more and more time to keep it up to date and to add new material. We are therefore seeking an assist web author to help with content editing on the artsinleicestershire web site. To do this you will need a good broadband connection, a copy of a web editing packages (e.g. Dreamweaver) and accurate keyboard skills and about an hour a week of free time to do it in.

In return we will offer professional grade training in web design, promotion and publicity if your in a band or if your a singer or other performing artist, free entry to selected gigs and a reference for your CV if you need one.

Reviewers

We are looking for people who would like to go to music events and write up reviews. In return you will get free entry to the show. If you are good at writing and have a critical faculty for music, please contact us and say what kind of music you like most.

Hip hop/Dub/R&B Editor

We are looking to recruit a voluntary content editor to cover hip hop, dub and R&N in Leicester. If you know a lot about this style of music locally please contact us about submitting information by email.
