A Leicester live photographer who has a superb collection of shots of the best bands to have played in Leicester. His work ably captures the mood and atmosphere of a gig and his studies of musicians and singers in performance brings out the character and personality of the artist. With a portfolio of some of the top rock bands in the UK, Ollie's work has been published in a variety of magazines (including Noize Makes Enemies and Sandman Magazine) and he has residencies for ‘The Venue’ at Leicester Uni, Sumo and The Charlotte. His collection on Flickr (see below) has an impressive quality, depth and variety. The photo shows Andrew Stone from the Displacements at The Venue on 13th February 2008. © Ollie Millington. The gallery offers original works for sale, plus a range of high-quality, limited edition giclée prints. Richard Freer I am a painter based in Leicester. My work is exhibited in art galleries throughout the country, I also create work for a number of art consultancies. I work on commission and sell work through my website or by people visiting my studio. My work can also be leased for a period of time.
The subject for my work is normally skyscapes, beaches, landscapes or scenes in nature. My work is semi abstract and plays with the boundaries between representation and abstraction. While creating my work I am referring to the subject and trying to capture its characteristics, but at the same time I am developing unique relationships between colours and textures on the canvas and allowing the work to partly develop its own atmosphere and character separately from the subject. My paintings reflect as much about themselves as they do about the scenes they are based on. PhotographersI am primarily a black and white documentary photographer. I also specialise in macro and landscape photography with my work focusing on the objects, moments and essence of life that people often bypass during their day-to-day lives. I exhibit my work throughout Leicestershire and sell fine art photographic prints to the public. Please get in contact (via my web site ) for further information, and to view my full portfolio. Finally it could be said that my work involves a certain aspect of preservation, based in a need to document places that may be disappearing.

He became interested in the art of Urban Exploration after seeing a Documentary on Channel 2, and has always been interested in exploring places that used to have a meaning too but now stand alone, un loved by the people who once used them. The erie presence you get from being in a place that was once inhabited by people going about their business is the main driving force for producing this Exhibition. Ben Ravilious
The majority of my photographs are of Leicester where I live. Others are from such far flung places as North Devon, Scotland and Singapore. My aim is to take straightforward pictures that capture the essence of a place, person or thing. Website: www.benravilious.com
